Your agents can read your code. They can't read your reasons.

Code Collie remembers why your code is the way it is, and tells your coding agent before it writes.

With Code Collie
Claude Code

Your agents do the writing. They also do the remembering.

Code Collie is a connector your agent talks to. It asks before it writes, and saves what it learns while it works. You don't keep any notes yourself.

It saves what you tell it

When you explain something the code can't show — why you chose one way, a rule from a contract, what you're in the middle of — your agent saves it as you talk. If the answer is already in the code, it's thrown away.

Discount codes can't be combined. A customer stacked five of them in March and we refunded the lot.

kept · nothing in the code says this

Your reviewer reads the same notes

A review agent asks what has changed since it last looked, so it stops flagging the things you did on purpose.

A wide, open field under a soft sky

If your agent could work it out by reading your code, we don't keep it.

It is the one rule, and it is why this doesn't turn into another wiki nobody trusts. Every note is checked against it before it is saved.

    we already have this

Old notes are worse than no notes.

A note that has quietly gone out of date is worse than no note, because your agent will believe it. So every note here has a way of stopping.

Work in progress clears itself

When your agent says what it is working on, that note lasts a few hours and then goes. Nobody has to remember to clear it.

Rewriting the checkout form. Leave it alone for now.

New decisions replace old ones

Change your mind and the old note is marked as replaced, not deleted. You can still see what you used to do, and why you stopped.

Discount codes can be combined again, from v3 of the API.

Notes are re-checked when the code changes

Every note says which files it is about. When those files change, the note is checked again instead of being trusted.

Not built yet. It is what the file each note points at is for.

Connects to the agents you already use

Code Collie is an MCP connector. Point your agent at it once and it's connected — there is nothing to install, and it works the same in your editor and in CI.

A small team working around one table

Built for small teams who ship faster than they can write things down.

No roles, no admin console, nothing to procure. One person connects it in a minute, it starts completely empty, and it fills up as you work.
